Rev. Protopresbyter Patric Legato, a graduate of the Holy Cross Seminary in Brookline, Massachusetts 1986, was ordained into the deaconate on March 19, 1986 by the late Archbishop Iakavos of America and to the priesthood by the late Bishop Philip of Dafnousion in July of 1986. His first assignment was as an assistant priest to Father Nicholas Sotiropoulos at Saint Paraskevi Shrine in Greenlawn, NY. Father Pat served St. Sophia Greek Orthodox Church in Albany, NY for 37 years from December 1, 1989 to June 30, 2026.
